YAWN...

Animals got me up way to early this morning. At 6:30 Mr. Bigglesworth started his singing, Baby Kitty joined in, Stewie decided that my lips needed some loving in the form of eskimo kisses, and Oy, the pyrenees, climbed into the bed between hubby and I, doing the doggie back dance! So, I made sure all the water and food bowls were full, let the dog out, and climbed back into to bed, only to hear Toby, the black lab, barking to be let out (mind you he didn't want out 10 minutes before). So I let him off the screened in porch, and lay back down to grab a few more zzzz's. Silly dog got back on the porch, door closed behind him, and he started barking to be let off again. That did it, and I have been up ever since. Made coffee and eggs with chicken for breakfast, answered emails, took some pictures of a weight machine I am selling, sent them to the fella who is interested, caught up on some of the journals, gave the animals their morning treats, yada, yada, yada...just the same ol' same.

I did get to town yesterday, took back the Excedrin (there is a major recall of all Excedrin products, Bufferin, No Doz, and Gas X due to the manufacturer putting the wrong pills in the wrong bottles, anything that has an expiration date up to Dec 2014), the food that Aldis sells as sliced American cheese (first thing I have bought from them that I was not pleased with), went to Wally World and picked up a few things, then back home. I took the rest of the craft and holiday stuff downstairs to it's new home, then cleaned the rest of the house. You'd think with all that I would have lots of steps, but only 7,600...oh well, I will take it, it is better than none, right?

Hubby made me chicken soup and chicken and ham topped portabella for dinner. It was delicious!

Still feel blech today, but will get through and try to finish the last of the 2 spare rooms.

That's about all the news that's fit to print from my corner, hope all is well in your's!

TTFN!

Good Afternoon! Sorry those animals wouldn't let you rest. Hope you can get some in during the afternoon. I wonder if my mother knows about that recall. I'll have to tell her. She uses all those products. Thanks for the info and have a great day.

Thanks for letting me know about the recall - need to check to see if that covers any generic products.

sounds like a productive day. 7,600 steps is better than sitting on the sofa for hours! Ugh on the not being able to sleep. That is the pits! Thanks for all of you encouraging words lately. I haven't been reading up on everyone like I usually do. It's been a hard week.

Sounds like you got a ton of work done! My animals woke me up this morning too. It was raining and I guess that freaked the guineas out so they were "singing".

Carol, never heard it called that before!! lol That's funny! Sounds right up my alley. Hubby is making cornish game hens, BLT salad, and green beans. Can't wait! The animals are such fun and give me so much love, that putting up with their shenanigans is a small price to pay! Hope your day was terrific!! Love and hugs to you my sweet friend!
