So I've decided that Atkins is right for me. I'm tired of being fat and not having my clothes fit me properly. I did get the job at the ice cream shop...in fact it's for Haagen-Dazs. Eating their ice cream isn't really a problem for me because I can resist that temptation.

I started Atkins today and the reason why I didn't start yesterday when I had the groceries ready to go was because I didn't have them ready until today. Last night, I made my chicken, cut up my green peppers, and just got in the zone. I really don't understand why I'm so terrified of starting Atkins and doing this diet. I mean, I think it has to do with the fact that I'm giving up all my comfort foods of throwing away my emotions. I turn to food when I get stressed out and lately I've been extremely stressed.

I just started the new job which actually I got sent home to a foot doctor because of my Plantars Fasciitis. I got diagnosed on Friday (the day I was sent home I made an appt). I got 2 cortisone shots (both feet) and they were wrapped for 3 days. Today is the first day they are unwrapped and I'm scared the pain will return. I'm having some issues with my achilles heel too. I got diagnosed with both and she just gave me some anti inflammatories and some stretching exercises. I really hope it helps.

I need it to work b/c this job requires me to stand on my feet 47-50 hours a week. I'm terrified that my feet will hurt and I won't be able to do the job....:/ I know I'm worrying about nothing, but I still worry.

Atkins should be easy peasy.....ya know?

This morning I did fine with my food. Everything was prepared ahead of time so I just had to cook it. I might have trouble with snacking so I need some ideas for sure.

I started atkins 2 weeks ago today, and have lost 10 lbs. I even had a really really really bad day on my birthday, so I would bet I would have even lost more if I hadnt. Atkins is really great, and surprisingly enough I am never really hungry anymore. I have to remind myself to eat. I like a carrot or tomatoe for snack with some sort of low carb dipping sauce. Or even just a small piece of chicken breast or something like that. Good luck!
