Ok, so it's July 18th, and I am up at the butt-crack of dawn. I have my weigh in today. i am hoping this new calorie intake is paying off, buz it has been hard to cram the damn things in every day.
Since I am new here, this is waht happened:
I thought I was doing good with my 600 to 700 calories a day. i was proud even. However comma I had only lost 2 pounds in two weeks when I started this site (was 275 down to 273). I thought I was doing something wrong. Everyone told me stalls are normal in the post op phase while you are starting to make muscle and lose inches instead of pounds.
Well, I went to my first support group, and had a chance to chat with my nutritionist. And got fussed at. Seems I should be eating more calories a day about 1000. Eating the 600 something that I was put my body into starvation mode, and my metabilism (sp) was 0. OOPS
I know it's only been 4 days since I started crammin in the cal-s, but I hope my weigh in today is a little bit better in the past week than it has been in the previous 2.
