I had another OB appointment and everything is great. The baby is squirming and has a healthy heartbeat. I got to see his/her little spinal column and ribs. So cute!
The midwife is happy with how I'm taking care of myself. She says I am right on track. I'm walking with the dogs every other day or so. I'm doing prenatal yoga about twice a week and some arm weights. I am eating small meals every couple of hours. I feel pretty good.
I got overheated again over this last weekend. I went to a farm where they had u-pick vegetables and fruit. My mom and SIL were with me and we were only there about 45 minutes mid-morning, but I got overheated. I was drinking water so I don't know where I passed my limit, exactly. I spent most of Sunday trying to recover. I have to be very careful now because it is the second time this has happened and it is only the beginning of August. We will have at least another month of higher temperatures before it cools off again in the fall. I am so glad I am not 6-8 months along in August! That would be awful. My other SIL lives in AZ and is due at the end of this month. I can't imagine what it's like for her. Of course she doesn't have to work.
I hope all my FS buddies are doing well. I'll try to make the journal rounds.

Hey Sara! Good to hear everything is going well. One of my coworkers is due any week now, and she definitely agrees that being pregnant in the heat of August sucks. LOL

Thanks for the update. U-pick veggies/fruit sounds like fun but not if you end up like an egg on hot pavement. Take care :)
