April 27, 2011 - Mid-Week Check In - I am feeling really good today. I was driving home from work, on my way to chorale rehersal, and I got this craving for BK. I wanted to stop so bad. How did I not give in to the thought of a tasty Whopper sandwich. I just said to myself over and over again, "You don't need it. You don't need it." The truth is I didn't need it and it gave me the mental strength to just drive on by. I still wanted it, but I didn't need it. Once I got home and ate a sensible dinner, the craving went away. Just remember that what you may want is not something that you always need. I was hungrey and I wanted something delicious. I did not need BK to fill that need.
