Running. I dont know whats getting into me. Im running a little more each walk and really liking it.I am going to use my stopwatch on my crackberry and see how much actual running I am doing on a 45-60 minute "walk" Just for fun. I ran cross country when I was younger, but haven't done serious running in decades.(And what I am doing now is FAR from serious!!) Im keeping it simple, and just doing it in intervals. If the mood strikes me as I am walking..P-CHOWWW Off I go! am usually in my jeans and jacket and dont wanna get all funky at work. Who knows...maybe tomorrow Ill throw some shorts and better shoes in my truck and see what happens? Ill tell you this...its a lot easier to do 25 pounds lighter! Cool beans. Im gonna have a skinny cow, read a little and hit the sack. Peace buddies!

Great for you Mike. Just don't forget to stretch if you get serious before and after. Great that you are easing back into it. I love to go buy shoes. Running shoes included. I bought some Asics Gel Kayano 16's recently. One of the best shoes I have in a while. And they are men's shoes to boot. I have a wide hobbit foot and it is a royal pain to find womens running shoes. Not to mention I go through them ever 4-6 months. Sad because they look fine, just don't have much bounce left when I'm done with them. This pair of mens shoes is still going strong after 3 months of ground pounding and 10 plus miles a week. Have fun running and shoe shopping. Get a good shoe if you are getting serious. Totally worth not messing up your feet.
