Today is really day 2. I started my diet yesterday. In my journal, I want to record not only what foods that I am eating but also how I am feeling.
This morning I had a stomachache. I did pretty well yesterday but had taquitos for lunch and I am sure that those are what caused my stomachache.
Again at lunch I had a stomachache after eating but I ate better. I did not eat the croutons in my Brueggers Chicken Caesar Salad. I think there is a little bit of sugar in the caesar dressing, but not much and I did not have ketchup with my eggs this morning.
I will need to come up with some breakfast options. Maybe boil some eggs tonight for this weekend.
Tomorrow is a vacation day for Tatia's field trip and so I will have to pack a lunch for both of us. Then next week I am travelling and honestly I sometimes find it easier to do the diet stuff when I am travelling because I can just buy salads everywhere and most breakfast bars have boiled eggs.
My goal with this is of course to take some of the extra weight off but more importantly to feel more energetic and to get in shape. I am considering getting a gym membership as well. That will make it easier to follow along if I can get a routine going with that. We shall see.
