I've been doing the Zumba DVD's every day since I got them using 3 lb weights. The Zumba instructor told me today I should be using 1 or 2 lb. I also found out (the hard way) to keep the elbows slightly bent, or else you can hurt your elbow.

I think I'll stick with the 3lb since a)I normally lift 15lb on the bicep curls, tricep kickbacks, etc. that's probably above the norm and my arms can take this b) I never extend fully and I moderate how far I stretch c) I've been OK with it so far d) the DVD only lasts 30 mins, not the full hour as in a class.
