Cool. Welcome here. There are a lot of people here who have done it. You can too. It will always seem too slow. Determine in your mind you're here for the long haul. We're all here to support you and listen to you gripe when you need to. Hang tough.

Don't starve yourself. Start off making small changes, that becomes habit down the line like switching out a candy bar for a piece of fruit, etc. You can do it. Just make sure you get your nutritious veggies and protein to satisfy your appetite within reason. And because you want it so badly, you are going to succeed, because you already see yourself thin. You can do it and we can help. Welcome to Fatsecret.

Welcome! Don't try to do this too quickly. Slow and steady wins the race on this. Keep in mind that the first portion will come off better than the end portion. Perhaps try a few smaller goals that you can reach in a timely fashion so you don't get discouraged and quit. I set my goal in approximately three sections. I reached my first goal and it was so inspiring. Then I hit a wall. Still banging my head on that wall...but refuse to give in. You can do this! I have gotten more lax recently...but if you want help we are all here to support and help you.

Hello Sweets... you've come to the right place. We're here for you. Look around, find a plan that you're willing to live with for the rest of your life. Make sure you document all that you eat. There will be errors. Always is when just beginning. Not to worry. You'll get the hang of it. Pick out an exercise or two to perform daily. Walk to begin with if able. Ask questions. Cruise this site. Get comfortable. A lot of hand holders here. Never doubt.

Nice and easy. Combination of calorie control on the intake side and exercise on the output side. It's all math. Burn off more calories than you consume and you create a deficit. And remember that 1 1/2 to 2 pounds a week is right about the right place to be when you are starting. You'll see the first 20 or 25 pounds just fall off. Stay focused and you can do this, and whatever else you want to do. Nobody can stop you but you.
