I thought I would try adding some measured carbs back in. I had half an english muffin with my egg and cheese for breakfast. It seems like the rest of the day I wanted some carbs. Went to lunch with my daughter and had a nice salad with romaine lettuce, a wedge of tomato, a few black olives, a couple thin slices of red onion, and bay shrimp. I had caesar dressing on the side. It was delicious and I felt fine but later I was thinking about sweets and craving cake or a donut or something. I ended up trying to be good and bought some carb smart icecream bars but no, smiles, didn't help. I ate two immediately for 380 calories, and then had fish sticks for dinner and another icecream bar. My total calorie count for the day was close to 2000 and my carb count was off the charts! No wonder I weighed in this morning at almost a pound heavier. I did take a nice bike ride yesterday morning and a walk in the evening. Oh well, today is a new day and I am trying to learn what I can and can't do while trying to lose weight. I can't have carbs first thing in the morning as I then crave them all day! I have found though that if I occasionally have a dessert or something in the evening that I do okay. I don't have super strong cravings the next day. It's just that my low carb eating for the next day doesn't taste as good. Okay. I really hope that once I reach my ultimate goal weight I can make it set there and then not have to be super strict like I am being now. We'll see. At least eating low carb I don't feel hungry and think about food all the time!
