Morning weigh in of 206.2 after a big eating night out. Actually going to fast completely today, at least until dinner. Need to split yesterday's 3800 calories over two days!

I hear you. I hope you enjoyed the night out with company and I am sure the great food. There's this great pizza place called ABC Pizza, There is a branch in Tampa, FL and Land O Lakes, ....Oh my Goodness, Great food, But not good for the diet, ... It will be a couple months before I can visit that place again!!!!!

Draglist, I COMPLETELY feel your pain. I will create a new journal entry about this because I have a theory! It has to do with this: when you eat lean and well, your body is like a little hungry rodent in an alley, all beady-eyed and ravenous. When you throw a big, juicy steak at it, it gorges itself and stores away as many calories as possible, since it has no idea when it may get another decent meal again! That, and salt. :)

MM. That's actually the concept behind reverse dieting where you increase calories slowly after losing weight. It lets the metabolism go 'that's not much more' several times until it hits the stability point. May each and every one of us lose what we need, and then hit the stability point.

NM, I guess that's exactly what I did NOT do at my birthday a few weeks ago, and that's why things went crazy. It's a shame that I can't just send my body a memo: "Dear Body, Please don't store all these calories...it's just our birthday! Sincerely, The Management."
