No weight loss to report, but my life over the past week or so has reached a new level of sucking, and I am betting the extreme stress is stalling me out..its been coming, but it all just came to a peak this past week. I am not binging...in fact, I am struggling to want to eat at all. Normally, I would be reaching for donuts or cake, or chips, but not this time. This is the 1st time in recorded history that I havent reached for food in times of sadness or stress. I dont know whether to be happy about that or worried. (if that makes sense).

For those of you that pray, please pray for me-my anxiety level is thru the roof. For those that dont, please send good vibes my way.

You need to carve out a block of time to do something for yourself. Meditate if you are into that. Crank up some music and sing your heart out. (that's a great work-out for your diaphragm btw.) Paint, Read, Walk, Dance... whatever helps you de-stress, but carve out some time to do something for you, even if it's only five minutes a day. You need to do something to help decrease your cortisol levels, because otherwise it tells your body to do all kinds of things that aren't necessarily best for it, such as being stingy about burning off fat, in case you need the energy for a fight or flight response. Make yourself eat a little something, healthy of course, a hand ful of nuts and a piece of fruit if that's all you can manage. You just don't want your body to go into starvation mode on you and be stingy about shedding pounds because of that too. Just whatever you do, take care of yourself. You deserve it.
