My new weightloss/maintaining plan is calorie averaging (thanks draglist).
I love the idea of this concept as it allows me to go with what life throws at me like bbq's, picnics etc. It's a very positive approach because there is no feeling of having ruined everything by having a higher calorie day because you just balance it out in the next few days! This really seems to be the way to go for me as a longterm thing!
Having said all that it is very new to me so will be trial and error until I get a good balance for me!
On another note my daughter is getting stronger by the day and we're confident it will be good news at her next check up on friday.
It will be nice to finally get to move and start our new life overseas. Aaaaand finally buy my scales!!!!:-)
120.8 lb Lost so far: 46.7 lb.    Still to go: 4.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Thanks for the support and comments. At the moment it's just less during the week and a bit more on weekends, not too strictly by calories. Once we've settled into our new home i'll get serious about it:-)

Hearing that your daughter is better is great news. Enjoy your new eating plans it sounds great. Draglist, exhibits some very impressive results and I hope the same for you. Have fun!

I am so happy to hear you daughter has continued to improve in health! That is how I try to maintain my weight as an overall as well. I eat more on Saturday lately as I have been having my brother and sister in law over for dinner the past few weeks. Sometimes Sunday are higher as well since we try to spend time with family and friends. Much easier way to live!
