My eating hasn't been great the last week. I do so well during the day while I'm at work, but once I get home I constantly find myself standing in front of the fridge or pantry, looking for a snack.
However, got big plans starting this week. I spent most of Saturday revamping my recipes and my cleaning schedule. Found alot of new recipes that are healthy and all homemade (no boxes or meal helpers). Also, I have moved things around so that I have a schedule for cleaning rather than just leaving most of it for Saturday's. Monday-dusting, Tuesday-floors, Wednesday-kitchen, Thursday-bathrooms, Friday-Grocery shopping, Saturday-laundry [Hubby is the main laundry person in the house, but I will help on weekends], baking and catch up what I didn't get completed during the week. I think this will help with stress and putting myself on a schedule keeps me from feeling overwhelmed. I also worked my treadmill time into my schedule so that I get it done too.
Have a great week!

That is great! I may have to copy your idea - small goals for each day - that sounds like something I could stick to... Thanks for the idea - and the inspiration!!

You'll still have your daily chores--making beds, washing dishes and picking up whatever. But this way, you know exactly what the plan is for the day, and it can be more easily accomplished. Also, I put my boys on this schedule. They now have a set time for cleaning rooms, baths and bedtime (and homework once school starts) and won't spend all evening playing and be too tired to pick up toys at bedtime. This is what they do most often and it is then left for me to clean. My sons do better on a schedule anyway and it will help prevent arguments over cleaning and bedtime.
