Today was my husbands birthday. I made potato salad, baked him a cake, ran to store, made hot roast beef and meatballs. I did well until after dinner. Ate a cannoli.

I see a pattern, when I mess up it's later in the evening. I think I need to schedule something, like exercise.

I'm going to make myself a plan.

Evening munching is my problem too. I'm trying to clean up the kitchen while I'm still full from dinner to stop the nibbles. 'Eh, we're trying.

I journal as soon as I eat the food, so I don't want to have to journal nibbles, or some cheat food. I have to hold myself responsible if I screw up and be honest with myself. I find that if I play free games on the computer , I don't want to eat, and then I walk around the outside of the complex I live in before bedtime, or get on my elliptical. I also make tea at night to keep me filled up, If you feel hungry make a big pot of tea, I make herbal tea that doesn't have caffeine in it. I also write down why you are hungry. If I watch TV , I get hungry, so I turn it off and go on the computer instead, there are too many tempting commercials on TV at night.

Sometimes I'll have a diet coke, actually coke zero, tastes really good, I think. It seems to help me when I think I want a little snack at night, seems to satisfy
