Quick run out of the house this morning. There never seems to be enough time to avoid the chaotic pace of having to get myself and two little ones out the door in the mornings. Found my stash of Smart bars at work; that will have to be my breakfast :-)

Didn't sleep well last night. I went to be early, but found myself awake in the middle of the night and unable to fall back to sleep as I fret about finances. Part of the working/middle class woes...but glad that I have a job. We have some home projects coming up that are making me nervous. Plus with the kids both in day care during the summer it's just an expensive time of year. I tell myself it will all work out somehow...God always gives us just enough of what we NEED.

Lots to do this weekend. We're thinking of spending some time at a festival on Saturday. Then home to do laundry and packing for a little mini-vacation next week. It's funny that with being away for the week, I think I'll actually SAVE money. Even with what I'm paying for hotel is cheaper than my day care bill - LOL. Well, maybe it's more of a break-even, but it's given me perspective to not fret about the expenses of travel.

I'll get to the gym on my lunch hour today. Just a little over 4.5 miles to go to reach the "75 in 31" Challenge. I'll probably do some HIIT circuits today...those always make the workout go by fast!

I hope you all have a wonderful Friday and a wonderful weekend, too.

Way to accomplish your goals and early at that! You and both know God is in control. So put your trust in Him and give him all your burdens. His ultimate plan is always greater then anything we could imagine. I hope you have fun with the kids on vacation. What are you guys going to do?

If I had to be in control of life's decisions, I would have made waaaay too many mistakes already. So often I just throw the cards up to God and let Him sort it all out for me...the hand I'm dealt usually isn't one I would have picked, but always turns out for the best. Our trip - actually we'll be making without the kids. First time in about 3 years for just me and the hubbie. We're joining another couple (Godparents to our kids) to take in a traveling musical, and a few parks and museums. Other than when my husband and I get out for our running, I'm going to try to remind myself to 'walk slow and take in the day'.

That sounds great! I am sure you will savor every moment. :) I love getting to spend time alone with my hubby which very rarely happens. Usually a full day once a year and maybe 1 or 2 nights of dinner out alone. With his work schedules and my mom schedule if we are alone together we are sleeping in bed. Lol!
