TXSnowman's Journal, 24 July 2014

2nd day of vacation here on the gulf coast. We have the travel trailer parked right on the beach.
The sea breezes are wonderful. I've been successful at keeping to my eating plan. Broke my 18 hour fast at 2 pm with a nice sad from Jason's Deli. Later the wife and I went out to dinner and I had a 12 oz steak, asparagus & a salad. Topped it off with cheesecake (sans crust). Super low carb / high fat meal. I walked the dogs on the beach for a total of over 6 miles today (broken into a morning and a nighttime hike). Also got a little swimming in. Walking in the sand sure is taxing. We the wife and dogs are asleep and I think I'll turn in, too. Hope y'all have a great weekend!
