Day 3 stuck at the same weight, ugg. I cheated just a small amount on Tuesday and im still paying. I had a few crackers and a large bowl of chili. the chili itself was not bad as I used venison and beans, onions and tomatoes. no sugar. I didn't count my calories for dinner. I added Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. I hope I can get this loss going again soon.
153.9 lb Lost so far: 24.1 lb.    Still to go: 8.9 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You know if you started off your diet with a bigger amount of calories like 1200 for an example you would lose in the beginning slower but after a few weeks you would lose the same amount of weight per week like you are now. Your body lost all you water weight, that was when you were losing weight fast, now it's going to be probably 2,3 lb a week because your body adapted to the small amount of calories it's getting. When you get to your goal maintaining that weight will be really hard. We've all been there.

I started out at 176. now at 153.9 so not terrible. I am drinking 12-16 cups of water a day to keep hydrated. I am doing hcg so even though I am not eating a lot I am getting the calories I need. I've don't his diet years ago and lost 40lbs. I stayed off for almost 5 years until I went thru a divorce, job change and teenager stress lol. I knew better than to eat those stinking crackers but I was wanting bread so bad Tuesday. I caved. since I already messed up I just poured my bowl of chili and didn't measure. just ate what I wanted. stopped at one bowl though. cereal bowl not a mixing bowl too. :) with this diet if you cheat at all you are out for 3 days. so we will see tomorrow what happens. I only have one week left (I assume) on this and then im converting over to an Akins type diet. I will still loose some there but the intent will be to start maintenance phase. then in a month or so I can start adding carbs back in but slowly and reasonably.

snezica.. thank you for your help. I really do appreciate it. I by no means am a diet expert. im just doing this one bc it worked so well for me in the past. when I was a teenager I really messed my metabolism up and have never gotten it fixed. I was a wopping 120 lbs and thought I was fat. omg. eat very little and if I needed to eat I had carrots or celery. if I only knew what I was doing to myself I would have found something else to try. now im 43 I have to really watch. seams my body likes being at around 145

145 is the low my body likes to be at. of course that is where I have to watch and be smart. my high weight is 185 and never want to be there again.

Good that you only have one week left on this diet. That small amount of calories would hurt you in the long run. Atkins sounds better. Have a nice day :-)

Keep in mind, that you are doing a lifestyle change not a diet. So if you want bread have some just not what you are used to eating. You never want to deprive yourself of anything in life, you just want to be more conscious about it.

bread is my favorite. I limit it to just the good, fresh, hot breads and limit sandwiches. use tortilla shells instead when im not dieting.(getting back in control) might be a better word. I can do anything for a month or two. then I seem to get back undercontrol and maintain well for a long time. it seams to eventually sneak back up when life gets crazy. 6 kids (4 teens), ball games, work, rental properties and being single. things get crazy once in a while. :)

This can happen whether you cheat or not. I stuck to mine strictly and my weight didn't budge for 5 days. But keep going because I had a small loss yesterday and another today that together equaled a full pound loss.
