I've been maintaining a nutrition program of about 50 grams or less of net carbs a day for the last 2 1/2 weeks. I have dropped 10 lbs in that time without ever feeling hungry or deprived. One of the biggest reasons for my success was discovering Quest Bars which helps keep me full and satisfies the sweet tooth. It has very little artificial sweetener so I don't get those aspartame headaches eating them.
