Still fighting the salt from the Chinese Restaurant night out. Split a PuPu Tray and Orange Chicken with a friend with a unsweetened ice tea. A lot of calories anyway. Lunch with a friend at Applebees one day. Had a bourbon steak with quartered potatoes. Had the kids over, PopSecret popcorn, 2 cups. Worse popcorn on the market with trans fats plus the salt and regular fats. Just had to have some after I smelled it popping. Daughter sends it over for them to have. Would have been just miserable if I didn't have some! All in all, I should be happy I didn't go up on the scales. Heres to the coming week!!
215.0 lb Lost so far: 95.0 lb.    Still to go: 30.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Air popped popcorn is healthier than the prepackaged kinds. It's just corn kernels and you cook them in a little oil. I'm used to having no salt or anything added to them. They taste a little "buttery" to me because I can taste the oil. 3 cups cooked, using 1 tbsp of oil is only about 200 calories. I have it almost every night :) You don't have to give up your favorite foods. You can just alter them to be healthier. Overall, it sounds like you made good choices with the places that you went.

Actually, I usually only fix air popped popcorn for myself. This time there was so much of the boy's popcorn left over ... so waste not,... that I didn't fix myself a seperate air popped batch. I like to put ground cinnamon and ground hot pepper on mine.

That's great! At first, it tasted almost like how I imagine styrofoam to taste, lol, but I was so grateful to have healthy popcorn and it eventually began tasting good :) I had movie style popcorn at a concert this year, but that was all they had and I knew I would be hungry if I didn't get something. I asked if they had any without salt or butter, but of course not, lol. I prefer the plain stuff :) The cinnamon sounds good!

Yes, when I really want some popcorn, the air popped does the trick. You might be surprised how the ground hot pepper meld with the cinnamon. Its a subtle kick, plus you get a little more fat burning heat and all the benefits of cinnamon.

Yes, I agree herbs are good, and those are both good for the metabolism.
