Bill, Speaking of loose skin....Do you think this stuff ever tightens back up, or will it require surgery? I've seen posts on the internet saying that once so severely stretched, that the skin is permanently damaged and it won't tighten back up on its own. Of course I think most of that info came from plastic surgeons that want to get folks for clients. I've been hoping that if I keep the weight off for a year or so, that it may improve. Any thoughts? Also, Happy 2nd FS Anniversary!

Some say stretched skin is irreparable without surgery, others say, "not so." I've read reports that support both theories. However, we do know that unlike a "stretched rubberband" human skin is a living organ that continues to breathe, grow/shrink and has the amazing ability to heal or repair itself over time. Lot of factors at work (including genetics, age, etc.). But I choose to believe that given enough time and support (both inside and out) you can see some significant change in loose skin -- even if not super taut, rock solid abs. Anyway, I'm hopeful that if I lose weight slowly and keep supporting my body with the right fuel and exercise, then my skin will reward my diligence without surgical intervention! :D
