Weighed in and im down 4 pounds!!!! This is good considering that my birthday was the other day and I ate 3 pieces of birthday cake. Still kept up with the diet with a little cheating here and there. I need to really pick up on my exercising i have not been doing enough. I feel tired and i have no energy. Do you guys know of any good vitamins or ideas that can help me get my lazy butt up and exercise?

Motivation to exercise can be a tough thing to find. I set mini goals for myself like,I will walk for 2 hours total this week and then try to improve on it the next week. You are probably tired and low on energy because you are eating lower calorie now. You will adapt some over time and become more efficient at using the now limited calories. Carbs (sugars) can make you tired. For improved energy try snacking on nuts or seeds. They are a good source of energy. Be careful though, they are also very high calorie so dont eat too much. Congrats on the loss. You will get off the meds if you keep it up!

I agree about snacking on nuts. There are some really good seasoned ones out that are reasonably priced. Maybe also check into taking a B vitamin. Seems to help me not feel tired.

I've heard Vitamin B-12 can be good for boosting energy. I take a multi-vitamin every day for men 55+ in age, don't know if it helps but I figure it can't hurt. As for exercise, I think you just have to make up your mind to do it, then just do it. Once you get into a routine you can even look forward to it, it releases endorphins in your body and you feel good about it. Plus it just feels good to be doing something good for yourself. I do daily walks at a fast pace, try to push myself each day, and I always feel good when done, no matter if I'm tired from it. Getting started is the thing.....as Nike says just do it.
