I went out to a local diner this morning with my family & tried to be healthy - ordered an oatmeal and a yogurt parfait... was served enough food to serve 3-4 people... the parfait was in a cup that probably held 20 ounces at least - who needs that much yogurt??? The oatmeal bowl was a little more reasonable but I still don't think I would have finished it all, even if I had only ordered that. One would think that people ordering oatmeal and/or yogurt are more diet-conscious and willing to accept reasonable portion sizes, but apparently not. I had the current trend to try to serve the biggest portions possible in restaurants... I guess that's what most people want, but so wasteful for most.

That's a hard part to eating out...even when you try to order healthy! I've had someone tell me when they go out (probably wouldn't have worked for your breakfast) but she immediately had a to go box brought and puts half her meal away and then feels better about her portion. Right this was a great idea! Good luck!
