I am working a new plan for the past two weeks. It is as follows: three meals a day and only at the table,no snacks, no desserts and minimal sugar(avoid as much as is reasonable), very easy on grains - maybe one a day and try to have only whole grains, reasonable portions. It is working well. I
183.0 lb Lost so far: 4.0 lb.    Still to go: 43.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 2.0 lb a week

Great job! I noticed that you did not mention any green vegetables. Very important don't leave them out. I applaud you for eating at the the table. I have a permanent place setting with candles at my dinning room table every night with the good china and goblets. I figure everyday is special and I should appreciate my meals in style.
