Hi Bill, time to pay the piper :) You know what to do and I know you are doing it. Condolences again. It's funny/ironic how funerals bring families together. We often say we should meet under happier circumstances. But I'm sure it was good to connect no matter the reason. Have a good day at work. You will likely be swamped, hopefully keep your mind off food, if you can stay out of the washroom long enough to get anything accomplished :)

I'm wagering the rest of that will be gone in a week.

Hey Bill, would you be willing to hit it hard with maybe something as drastic on the downside as you went drastic on the upside while you were away? Say a 1500 calorie diet until you get to where you were pre-trip? When you go big on a trip like that, and you know it's going to cost you, maybe the way to undo it is quickly, like pulling off a band-aid instead of it taking weeks. Just a thought! Welcome home and best of luck.

Bill, you have a really solid plan in place, and that's fantastic. Just curious...and I don't want to put you on the spot here in your own Journal, but if you had it to do again, would you do anything differently? Sometimes advanced planning on a family trip can help negate some of the inevitable recovery that will need to take place upon returning. Sometimes looking at restaurant websites can help one pre-plan meals, etc. I guess what I'm asking you is, was this a planned departure from your transformation, or were you just caught up in the moments of celebration? I only ask because I am faced with these challenges coming up soon with a family Mother's Day visit and I'd like to plan and avoid regret myself. Thank you for sharing, only if you care to. Again, great recovery plan. Bravo!
