when the going gets tough
How many cliches are written for the tough souls between us that has been getting the leaner cuts out of the ham of life? They are all meant for the other group of people to give them things to say when all they really mean is: Tough luck buddy, but i'm glad its not me!
The funny thing is that the really tough cookies, they leave behind a small almost untraceable track, and other tough cookies pick up on these scents immediately. Being able to draw from a rich experience on problem solving, these tough cookies are often surrounded by people who need help by one issue or the other.
To my big amazement i found myself hovering near a tough cookie, leeching from the life-experiences, drinking the knowledge on how to solve my own petty problems in life... I use the word leech, because i know that the person helping you is giving part of himself in order to be able to do that. However like a leech it is hard to let go ...
However leeching, is no more then whet it is: leeching. It means you are still dependent on someone else to solve your problems for you, and that means you are bound to repeat your mistakes, or not solve the issue in the first place...
So if you really want to solve a problem, you got find the answers inside yourself...
I realize this is not a beautiful ending to my story but then, i am not talking about the beautiful part of life... am i?
