It's been an odd day. I feel like I've done really good today diet-wise because I've had very small servings (like 1-2 bites worth) of the bad stuff but those 1 or 2 bites add up! I'm way over on calories, but also cooked good food that is going to last me several days.

I also would not have had the mashed potatoes and instant mac and cheese except a friend asked me a favor and then had the plate already made up as a thank-you when I returned after doing the favor. It was a child-sized plate/portions (she served 3 children the same, if not more). So I couldn't say no to eating it with her.

Now the half macaroon this morning is completely my fault. Ah, break-room temptations!

I think I'll blame the extra 500 or so cals on drinking a diet pop today. I don't usually have diet pop, but I am noticing that when I do I bump up cals. Oh well, I'll be working late into the night tonight so hopefully that keeps me going.
