KThompson12's Journal, 23 April 2014

I feel so much thinner being 10 pounds less! I'm fitting into 14's, I feel more confident and attractive. I commit to staying at 179, not trying for more right now. Although I would love to lose another 10 pounds, I believe it's in my best interest to remain here for a while. Additionally, I've lost this weight by restricting carbs, so I would like to slowly re-introduce carbs and maintain for a while. I'm worried about regaining all this weight over one hefty weekend.
179.2 lb Lost so far: 44.2 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Read the blogs on musclehack.com. It's not just about low carb. It's a combination of the right percentage of carbs and protein and fat for your weight. No reason to wait to lose more, unless the diet you are following is overly restrictive, which won't work long term anyway. I've lost 2% body fat on his TSPA program in the last three weeks. Working for me...

Wow, love people telling you there is no reason to wait to lose more! Grrrr...why cant people share what they are doing in their journals without others disagreeing?

Ok, sorry, I went into "give me one more rep" mode without encouraging first. So let me say, congrats! Losing 10 lbs. is not easy. It takes discipline and proves that you have what it takes to achieve goal. My point is, don't stop while you have the momentum. Use your success to spur you to your next goal. Successful people keep driving to what they want. Keep up the good work! :)

karenromiaih2002, I can't give out his formula. He is a personal trainer in Ireland and this book is part of how he makes his living. I will say that it takes a number of factors into account, including body fat percentage, to find the right amount of the macros, carbs, fat, and protein, that you should eat each day. TSPA is a workout and a diet plan. I have done the workout alone before. Good workout, but if you don't eat correctly, you won't lose fat. However, I think you could do just the diet and lose fat, you would just list a very low activity level in the formula. I've been doing both for 4 wks and have lost 10 lbs. while seeing my muscles grow. Stomach is much flatter, though at 22% body fat, I have a ways to go to get the six pack (10% body fat).
