mgrill's Journal, 23 April 2014

Today is normally my 'official' weigh in day for the week. However, thanks to the Trust Fall Challenge, I had to avoid the scale. It's not as easy as it sounds.

Just about every muscle in me feels sore after the last two workouts I've had. Today will be stretching and core work. I purchased a Gymboss interval timer and I am looking forward to using that for my core workout today.

Wishing everyone a wonderful day!

I hope you have a wonderful day as well! And I am right there with you; I want to weigh myself so badly! Do you think Yolanda will let us weigh in midway through the challenge? :D

Nope lol Sore is good, Mgrill. It's like that Listerine commercial... the burn means it's working lol. Have a good stretch and let those muscles heal. You're doing great!

I'd settle for just one foot on the scale?!?! What do you think, Yo? Seriously though, I do the focus that I can place on a different measure of fitness progress. And sore is wonderful...it lets me know I gave it my all. My husband's favorite quote from G.I. Jane - "The best thing about pain is that it lets you know you're not dead yet."
