I've been noticing a change in myself that leans a bit to either tired or lazy. I have got to figure out what is going on with me as I don't want to fall back in to old habits. I continue to work out but not feeling the same excitement I was feeling. Good news is still that my sister is coming and will be here Saturday evening and I'm certain I will see her for sure on Sunday. Maybe what I need is just a little company. She did say that she was willing to go with me to the YMCA so that will be really nice as I don't want to waste any moments that I can see her because time flies so fast that before you know it she will be back in Maine and who knows when I'll see her again. Still waiting for the weather to change to more sun than rain. Last time I went to the YMCA on the way home it was raining so hard that my bag was soaked, nothing like carrying a nice bag of wet towels and sweaty clothes with the additional rain soaking. Thankfully I do have an umbrella now. Hope my buddies had a wonderful day.

Sounds like you're getting bored of the same ol routine. Having your sister with you will definitely pep you up :-). So glad she is willing to go to the Y with you, it's great to have a friend with you every now and again. Until then maybe you need to ponder on some ways you could switch up your daily norm. Are you drinking enough water and getting enough protein? water helps move blood quicker helping keep energy up

I understand what you are going through, I also have been kind of burnt out so to speak when it comes to going to the gym. All I can say is try to push yourself and do something different, like Yolanda said. I am happy your sister is coming for a visit and you get to spend time with her. Like you said make the most of it and have a great time.

If you don't listen to music, try that. If you do, try some new songs. Music really kicks it up a notch for me. Let me know it that helps!

I agree with the music. I used my DS mp3 player yesterday and my pace was faster and flew by.

I have always had to work out and walk alone, and at times it does get a bit demoralizing. Yet, I try to embrace my solitude and make it like meditation. The music really does help.

Agree with Mrsmole, try some music, that really helps a lot! also, read this phrase I found on the internet: "When you think about quitting, think about why you started". You can also get some motivation boost by trying those clothes that didn't fit you days/weeks ago - that helps so much.

I agree with those that suggest something a little different. I've been having fun trying different things and don't do the same thing every day. That being said, we all get a little down now and then. Enjoy your time with your sister!
