Don't skimp on protein and cut the wheat and other processed food out. Fat will disappear like magic. Did for me, at least ;)

Keep up the good work but don't skip out on the necessary vitamins your body does need.

That happens as you tone up, the scale may not reflect your hard work right away.

Cut out processed foods, they are nutrient thieves. Eat whole food only (cooked or raw produce and lean, protein rich meats). Keep your workouts and the others are right that the scale will catch up (or you'll see the results in muscle mass).

That happens to me. Working out as well, last week not like I wanted due to extra work hours. My body continues to improve losing the fluffy fat but the weight doesn't change, all of a sudden it will drop a couple pounds. Have been stuck at the same weight for awhile again now but had to get some smaller clothes as my pants are simply falling off.

Muscle weighs more than fat.

Google "why the scale lies' for insight in to water weight fluctuations. Exercise can cause muscles to retain water to help them heal. This can show on the scale as a temporary gain, no loss or smaller loss than usual. A pound of muscle is equal to a pound of fat, but muscle is more dense than fat and more compact so you can get smaller with out seeing the scale move. I had a friend go down 4 sizes and the scale didn't move for a couple of months. The scale eventually catches up.

Thanks for all of the great feedback friends. I've added another workout to my routine and am feeling even better :-)...talked to a personal trainer friend of mine and she told me that I need to add more greens to my diet. I've been receiving compliments on my loss so I know the results are there. I AM IN NO WAY DISCOURAGED AT ALL!!! I LOVE MY NEW HEALTHIER LIFESTYLE AND WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT OLD ME :-)

I've been buying Organic Power Greens (I've seen at Kroger and HEB in the Produce section with salads). Dark, leafy greens that are great as a salad or cooked through and seasoned like braised greens. I use them in omelets, power smoothies with blueberries, quiche...everything! Well worth $4.98 for the large 16 oz container (about 10 cups of greens).

WholeFoodNut -- Both my brands are "spinach, mizuna, chard & kale". You're right, a few diff dark green variations. I specifically picked this blend only because I knew 3 of the 4 greens and that they would cook well too -- I need my groceries to pull double-duty when necessary (LOL).

Might have to see if I can find some seeds for Mizuna, I know I can get it in a couple oriental markets. I am planting spinach and chard, spinach will bolt when it gets hot. Kale I buy as it likes cool and it doesn't seem to do well for me to grow.
