I was pretty bad over the Easter holiday weekend. Went back home to Pennsylvania to visit with family which means home cooked food that I haven't had in awhile and just didn't want to pass up since it will likely be another year before I get Dad's meatballs and hot sausage again. Plus the fast food quick stop on the way there and back, some M&Ms and Oreos... yeah, I was pretty bad. But I'm home now and back on track. I'd say I've gained a pound or so which means I've lost at least a couple of weeks of progress in my journey. Was it worth it... no, not really. I can see one bad meal, or even one bad day, but I had three bad days in a row. Well, no better time than the present to get back on track.

Yeah, that's the thing with one bad meal, or even a bad day. It can sometimes turn into three. The old slippery slope. I know what you mean about those home cooked meals. I have come to the point with family where I tell them that I'm on this journey and ask them for their support and even not to make certain things until I get to where I'm going. So far, everyone has been really supportive. And when they can't be, or don't want to deprive others, I just make myself eat before I get there. It stinks, but it works. I hope it doesn't take you too long to recover. Welcome home!
