Greetings Buddies!
So the BIG PROTEIN experiment is no longer just an experiment - it is a LIFESTYLE change. I have adjusted to the increase in eating 130grams and above per day.
I have lost inches and gained muscle - not weight on the Idiot Box - but inches. And, I have tons of energy!
The pre-workout drink and the post-workout drink also areLIFESTYLE changes!
They have helped tremendously to make my workouts at Orange Theory Fitness more productive and, dare I say it, more FUN!
My latest experiment is taking CLA capsules - conjugated linoleic acid is reported to help with fat metabolism. I will try it for about 90 days.
CLA is a naturally occurring fatty acid found in grass fed meat and some dairy products. It claims to help people lose fat, maintain weight loss, retain lean muscle mass, and control type 2 diabetes -- the type of diabetes that is often associated with obesity.
We will see how things keep rolling - BUT I must admit I still want the Idiot Box to move down and I just do not know what to do about it.
I am dedicated, determined, and diligent!
