mars2kids's Journal, 16 April 2014

It's been a long day, but it's getting close to over. I ended up eating some chocolate today because I was stressed, that's how this day has been. I only had one though, so I'm not going to worry about it.

I made myself get out of bed this morning and get my workout in. I was thinking about my buddies Yolanda and Kathy who do these amazing workouts and told myself that I had to be like them. It worked and I got it done! Last night I went for a walk during my son's practice. It was only a mile, but it was nice, cold and windy, but nice. Luckily I only did a mile because they cut practice short due to the temp starting to drop, so I was just getting back when they were leaving. Tonight I'm hoping I can chase some volleyballs or something to stay moving. At least that will be an hour that I won't be just sitting watching TV.

This week is going by pretty quickly, which is good. I'm doing my job and covering for someone else who's out on vacation until next Wed, so I'll be glad when she's back. Luckily, I haven't had too much to do to fill in for her yet. Tomorrow I probably will though, but it will make the day go by quickly.

Come on weekend, I'm ready for you!! Have a great rest of your Hump Day!!

I am SO proud of you! Here I sit on a rear that's getting broader and do nothing about it! We each started at same weight and I'm still the same. Eat little and exercise like NOT! Tell me about your friends Yolanda and Kathy....maybe they can give me a lil incentive... Having children helps you keep moving. Again, so proud of you!

It's funny how you think of me, while I think of you lol. As long as we don't each other down then we will be in a good place. You did great, keep that momentum going in to today. This week is almost over! :-)

Thanks!! Mimi, once I get into an exercise routine it gets easier, it's when I get out of the routine that it's hard to get back to it. If you can make yourself exercise a few days a week, a walk, a DVD, a Wii or Xbox game, just something to get you moving, after about 3 weeks you'll find it's easier to stick with it. Yo, I'm going to keep it going, I just have to wake up today! I'm glad we can encourage each other, it sure keeps me going. :)
