Yesterday was....I'll say it, exhausting.
Had my oatmeal for breakfast, a shake for lunch, and healthy request chicken noodle for supper.
I was only able to work 1 hour of my normal 2 hour schedule with volunteering. Only walked about 6 dogs (not normal) on 6 short walks -- the threat of rain was near. Then hopped over to Mount Laundry and started to fold clothes. The more I leaned over to grab sheets/blankets/hand towels/towels/wash clothes/toys and stored them away, the weirder I felt. Ended up leaving at 6pm, dismayed that I just could not push myself further without sweating profusely. It wasn't a low blood sugar or blood pressure thing, I didn't feel well earlier, but was assured that I could push through the volunteering to head home and rest. Uh, no. I apologized and apologized that I just had to leave. It was hard because I think there were only 4 of us in the entire building - 1 volunteer with the cats, 1 volunteer (me) with the dogs, 1 employee feeding the cats and dogs, and 1 administrative person at the front desk. They assured me it was ok. I just abhor skipping out before I'm scheduled to. Came home. Fed dinosaurs (game). Watched 2 episodes of Gilligan's Island and in bed by 9:15pm. Slept HARD until 1:45am. Potty break and moved to the sofa as Papa Bear was in the house. Slept hard again till 6:45am when Puppy Power thought it was my time to wake up...convinced him that we needed to snooze for another 5 minutes...in reality it was 15 glorious minutes.
Today - Irish Oatmeal (surprisingly good) with 1 TBSP honey, 1/4 cup walnuts, and 1 small apple.
Lunch - Shake
Snack - 4 prunes and 1/4 almonds, maybe PB2 if needed
Supper - probably chicken noodle soup again with peanut butter and saltines for dessert.
Today - thanks to Spark - I will have more energy. I haven't picked back up exercising yet. Working on getting my eating back in order. Will be bringing back exercise - maybe not everyday, but at least finishing the Couch to 5k - and then incorporating other things back in.

I have seasonal allergies, but for whatever reason, wet pollen seems to create more havoc this year than dry pollen. Weird!!
