I'm still holding at 189 and starting week 3 of it, but I am confident the tide will turn and the plateau will go soon. I was a busy and very active person this weekend and did some major resistance training! I did lots of heavy yard work and gardening..hauled manure and soil...mowed lawn (without self propelled mower).......also did reg workout, cleaned house and squatted for like 2 hours planting vegetables.

I am super sore if I dont get up and walk around often today :)

I am hoping this does the trick and I get that whoosh soon. My hubby says it looks like I dropped inches the past 3 weeks, so maybe its just the inch dropping time instead of weight loss time....!!!

I did measure my thighs........... 19 1/2"

You are doing great! I hit a block in the beginning where the scale stayed the same for 6 weeks! But I could tell I was doing better by the positive changes in my body and the way my clothes loosened up! Don't let numbers hold you back. Keep up the awesome work!

Great job getting all that good exercise! I just passed 3-4 weeks of no weight loss, & was feeling very down, since I have to lose 25 lbs to have my left hip replaced. Then on Sunday AM I weighed as usual, & had lost 3 lbs! Doin the happy dance all over, yeah! Don't let the numbers get you down, just keep doing what you know is right, & the weight WILL come off. Also, due to my health issues I can hardly do any exercise except my recumbant exercycle & pool therapy at my local PT office, so have to rely on keeping calories & carbs down to lose any weight. It is sad that we often don't realize how blessed we are to have strong, healthy bodies until something goes wrong. I think that exercise like the yard work you're doing is at least as good, maybe even better than the "formal" gym-type exercises. The scale is not always the best indicator of how well you're doing overall on diet & exercise, as any knowledgeable dietician will tell you. Keep it up gal, & soon you will be surprised at progress you've made, & the scale will catch up with the program too. Then you'll be doin the happy dance too! :)

You're probably in the phase I am - converting fat to muscle - don't freak out if you see an uptick on the scale - keep measuring.
