No change in weight because no change in diet. Still eating too much dark sea salt chocolate.

I'm flying to SD next week. Bought size 16 pants at Costco, and they're about 1/8 inch too tight to zip, but if I lose 5 pounds, it'll work. I'm going to cut way back on my food starting today and that should do the trick. I don't want to be too big for my airplane seat either. When I gain weight, it always goes straight to my ass and thighs. Then my stomach and upper arms and face. I'm very bothered by my blubbery appearance right now. Some people look good carrying extra weight -- but I don't -- and I certainly don't feel better either.

Going to another funeral tomorrow. My dad's favorite uncle. That's 3 important men in our family who have died in 1 year. I hope the next few months will be better than these last 12 have been.
199.0 lb Lost so far: 13.0 lb.    Still to go: 49.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You are not alone. When I gain weight it goes straight to my butt, thighs and belly. You have a lot to deal with at this time, so mourn, cry, cuss, get angry...and then get back on track. It will get better.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Are you working out? Exercise will help get those inches down for the pants to fit, and eat lots of veggies. Don't have to eat less (depending how much food you're already consuming) just have to eat right. I am actually eating more food than I've eaten in a long time....but it's all good clean foods. Good luck!
