I'm on my 11th day of Sonoma Diet. I add fruits to my diet today. My day at Painting with a Twist is tomorrow to celebrate staying on a single diet for 10 days (just one day used to be hard) Now I take an invisible Determination Pill and keep the momentum going. I have a tight schedule, however, I was eating only what was on Wave 1 of the diet 10 days and now will be moving to Wave 2 which includes a few new veg, fruits and 6oz wine a day. I have lost 9 lbs in 10 days so far and I attribute it to the diet and exercise, in particular 30 minutes on the eliptical - empowered by meeting friends at the gym every morning 5/7. Without them it would be hard to show up and be motivated. I work 2nd shift and am a late night muncher so I have eaten my almonds and salad, celery & peanut butter, anything that I didn't eat during the day at night. I know it's not the best plan, but its better than junk at night. It's working! That's what matters. I'm making that all elusive "LifeStyle Change" necessary to lose weight and life healthy. I'd recommend Sonoma to anyone who loves good food. 3 days into the diet I believe I lost a lot of toxins from my body and became unaddicted to sugar & junk. I made a chocolate cake from scratch (I didn't even lick the spoons)for my hubby. It sat in my fridge for 3 days before he had all he wanted and dumped it in the trash. I never tasted it. I consider myself a chocoholic and I myself am amazed at that one! I made a homemade Chicken Pot Pie Thurs nite and fought the temptation sooo hard working with the pie dough. I didn't even taste it before or after and I heard it was great. I'm being gently tested and passing the tests. Working toward more variety in my foods now to keep from getting bored with them so this is a great adventure, and I am more than a leg up on the journey. Nearly 10% done.

I'm tweaking the Contract to take another 10 lbs off as quickly as possible. Even if we T25 it! lol. This next 3 10lb losses are going to be important to getting me under 200! And I am REALLY looking forword to it. I appreciate your support!!! I know you are going to do it too :) YES!
