I'm a stress eater too. I struggle the most if I am alone, so if my husband is with me I tend not to do it. I know it's harder when it's cold too. Sometimes watching a favorite show helps. Something to get my mood up. :)

I am a stress eater too. Since I'm a month away from finishing my masters degree, my stress has been skyrocketing lately! I have two different strategies to help with stress eating. One is to prepare healthy snack foods on Sunday so I have them available all week. I make baggies or containers full of stuff like vegetables, low-glycemic fruits, hazelnuts, etc. I also always have a container of Arctic Zero in the freezer. If you can find it, buy it! The first two ingredients are water and whey protein- it's only 150 calories per pint, and it's an excellent, sweet ice cream substitute. I can eat half the pint and be at the nutritional equivalent of half a banana.

I'll have to look into that Arctic Zero. Thanks for the tips! Yeah, I try to plan ahead too, that helps me. I am constantly eating through out the day, but since it is healthy it is not a problem and I stay fuller longer.

Andrea31, yeah, he kind of keeps me accountable or just having him there keeps me accountable. I tend to be an emotional eater. I also do it out of boredom at times. I think a lot of us struggle with it.
