So today i decided i was going to do better with my carb intake. I decided on oatmeal, banana and 8 floz chocolate soy milk..... all of that has more carbs than YESTERDAY!!!!! omg!!!!! I didnt know that oatmeal had so many carbs!! What are some breakfast foods that dont have a lot of carbs in them?

I did the same thing with oatmeal before I realized how many carbs it had don't give up you will figure it out practice makes perfect I just keep trying :)

I eat oatmeal most mornings. I count it as 2 carbs and then my milk as 1. There are you 3 carbs servings. Which is fine. If you want that banana either omit the milk and have 1/2 banana or lower your milk to 1/2 cup and have 1/4 of the banana. Alls good

Read MMN. Carb servings are what's most important -- there's a little math involved. Seriously, I've got 2 books that are really educational for diabetics (and all people) about how to eat for 'life' changes using real food. You don't want to lose and gain. Lose-maintain-lose-maintain until you get to your goal weight. In-boxing you now.
