Christine Han's Journal, 27 January 2011



Today I felt up to exercising on my exercise bike­-­- I cannot believe how out of shape I've become. I used to be able to put a DVD movie on and watch it while I rode the bike and not stop. Now I can't go 10 minutes without my legs starting to hurt behind my knees. I took many breaks but I rode fo 1 hour and then my legs said "Enough!" I'm not mad at myself though considering how long I haven't exercised at all for a few years other than walking around Scranton Lake with the hubby. We walk for 10 miles when we can get up there. We're always chased by, it seems like, this one squirrel who knows when we're there for the handouts in food we give it. It's a scary thing to be stalked by a squirrel when we forget to bring its snack! Can't get any walking done with this weather. Snowed again last night and supposed to have "flurries" today again. Looking for Spring. Hope springs eternal on that one I'm afraid--but to look on the positive side, it's almost February and not October!!!!! Think positive!
