I just realized that I now have bowel movements each and every morning. I used to have such terrible constipation issues. If I would have known 1.5 years ago that it would have taken this long to get my digestive system back on track, I would not have been so frustrated with that portion of my progress. I could not understand how everything else with my body was doing great, except my "poop cycle". And now my poop cycle is better than ever. It's really true that every individual body is different. Healing takes time. I also found that I spend a ton of money on healthy food, supplements...bc I really like putting good things into my body. I'm one of the most frugal people in the world so this is quite surprising. Many of the things I use have changed dramatically so I will have to update on here just to compare with my last list. I have kept a daily (personal) journal, and that has been my saving grace. If I could not be honest with myself everyday over the last 1.5 years to write down my daily calorie count, monitor true emotions, stabilize with meditation, and record weigh ins...I would not have lost over 100+ pounds. That's just a fact. A neighbor of mine who is obese has been trying to lose weight since I began my journey, and it's really sad to watch her struggle as I did in the past. She asked to workout with me long ago to which I immediately said YES, but each time I ask if she's available to walk...there's always an excuse. I've come to realize over my weightloss journey (and reading a few posts on fatsecret) that lack of weightloss has little to do with weakness....but in my opinion more to do with fear. Anywho, it's an absolutely BEAUTIFUL Saturday morning. I'm gonna relax today, and watch Oscar nominated movies in time for the Oscars tomorrow (YAY!). But before that, I'm going for a walk. It feels great outside. :D

It is nice to be on such a good schedule w/body stuff!! Congrats on that! And even more so on doing so awesome on keeping track! Amazing!!

You're doing great, and great job on losing 100+ lbs! I have accomplished the same, and I know how overwhelming it is in the beginning and how frustrating it is along the journey, wishing the weight would come off quicker. But you've made it to your goal and that is something to be incredibly proud of! I had regularity issues too and eating more carbs (healthy ones) helped me. Coffee in the morning (I drink decaf) works like a charm. I eat only healthy food too, and it IS expensive - more expensive than processed food. But it's definitely worth it to be 100 lbs lighter and feeling great! I also take vitamins and supplements. They help. I go through periods where I take lots of supplements, and periods when I only take the minimum (multivitamin and omega-3). Right now I'm taking a supplement for my hair/skin/nails, and a powdered supplement that is all fruits and veggies (8 of them) and superfoods (38), because I don't get enough veggies. I feel more energy and have a clearer mind from taking it. Plus, I'm not cold all the time! Losing 100+ lbs left me always feeling cold before. Which supplements do you take? You nailed it...FEAR! That is the one factor that whether you realize it or not plays so much in loosing weight. Fear of what you're leaving behind, the fear of where you going, fear of who you will lose along the way, fear of who you'll gain, and the underlying fear of "Will I like myself when I get there? Who will I be? How will I be different?" Such questions. Some easy, some not; but all whirl in our heads. Great Job on your digestive system! Very important, and just makes you feel better!~

ChristyLA, I am only just seeing this reply! I don't know why i am not getting alerts anymore. Anywho, My day today has been epic-ly(sp?) long so I WILL most DEFINITELY come back to this post in a day or so to tell you my updated supplement list! I definitely want to know what you use as well! So please list it here or email me. Congrats on your weightloss too! Isn't it life-changing?! I mean like super amazing changes from inside and out. Hope you have a great weekend! :D
