I got a body fat scale over the weekend. It gives me a much higher reading then my hand-held Omron body fat monitor, and both work with the BIA methods. Well, I will keep recording these readings too. I will add up the results, then divide them with 2.

At this case the Omron body fat monitor showed me 27.7% body fat at 193.6 lbs.
The body fat scale showed me 34,5% body fat, 41,5% water, 7,3% bone and 38,6% muscle at 193.6 lbs.

The average body fat reading from these two device is: 31,1%.

You are heading in the right direction, to many times I think we focus on one thing, I think you are doing the correct thing with the diet, exercise, weight and body fat, you are hitting it at all angles and it shows you are loosing. I too have a hard time staying of the scales each day. And when I go up .5 of a pound I get frustrated. Good luck in your adventure.

Thank you for your encouragement Bruce. I know what you mean by the weight fluctuations on the scale. We need to train our mind not to misplace these numbers on the scale, and to concentrate on our goals. Good luck to you too!
