I glanced at your journal and it looks like you are starving yourself. You and I are about the same size and I target 1550 calories a day and lose a pound every 10-12 days. You should be eating a lot more vegetables. Here's a typical day for me. Breakfast: vegetarian 2 egg omelet with lots of veggies (onions, garlic, peppers, spinach), coffee with real cream. I sautée the veggies in olive oil and cook the omelet in the same or butter (1 tbs total fat). Lunch is a big salad with at least 2 cups of greens. I usually put in some type of canned fish and include kalamata olives. Dinner: meat or fish with a large serving of vegetables. Snacks and desserts: avocado, berries, nuts. and sugar free dark chocolate.

Your diet says you are doing Weight Watchers, how many points are you eating each day? I get 29 a day but am trying to stay closer to 26-27; 26 is the minimum and if you are consistently eating below that, you are not getting the nourishment you need. Your body may think it's starving and it's holding on to everything it can. Add back some carbs and see what happens; or talk to your Leader and get some help. I hit a bit of a plateau with my loss and that's when I started here with watching calories too, and I'm working to get a better balance within my Points, and as Damilyehji said, vegetables are a great item to add.

Your body needs at least 1400 calories or you go into starvation mode and your body stores everything. Bump up your calories just a little and that will help. Also eat more protein that will help you stay full.

Ok I can relate with the frustration ..... I had to take some drastically measures for myself in the recent past. First I had to remember why I started this jouney. It was not just to lose weight .... I needed to get healthy. The weightloss every week became a symbolic milepost that I was going in the right direction. When the weightloss stopped for three weeks I had to question what I might bpe doing that isn't working. I couldn't understand it because I was consistently eating lchf. Through a series of experiments I found out that lchf for me looked like 60% fat 35% protein and 5% carb generally. I learned that my protein needed to be higher than I thought and that my calories needed to be much lower than I thought. I also learned that I was having too much cream and that Ihad to measure my portions. Variety is also important. Have some fish or other seafood. I researched recipes and bought cookbooks. I experimented with recipes ... coconut milk instead of cream in my creamy cauliflower soup ....just as tasty. Here's the gotcha gotcha..... I found that what finally seems to work for me is paying attention to what is going in my mouth, tweaking my diet when I learn about any improvements I can make and being consistent. It's important to find the right formula that will work for you and do it consistently. Be good to yourself .... I find that negative self talk can cause you to eat off plan. Everyday we get the chance to write a new page in our lives and the wonderful thing is that you are in control of your story ...you get to decide what that page will say. Put the frustration behind you and start anew with focus and determination. Find the formula that will work for you ....don't give up until you do. We are all here on a similar journey and we are cheering you on. Go for it!

Good Afternoon!!!First of all I want to say thank you so much to damilyehju ,erwinwarrior83 ,Shari22 ,skwhite ,JennBuck61 ,and imjinc2k !
When i make my veggie soup it includes: kale, spinach, brocolli. califlower, brussel sprouts, peppers, onions, celery, etc! Two or three bowels of them supplies my veggies plus for the day!....Now protein is another subject! I got sick of eating meat!!Never was much of a meat eater anyway! Now I use beans, and Hemp Powder..1/2 cup of Hemp is 28gr. of protein! And 2 net cabs!!(If you have problems with going #2..hemp will work like a charm!
I did start back on Weight Watchers, they have a new program that has good results, also they have Simply Filling. You can eat off the Power Foods chart almost unlimited!( If you eat alot of veggies it's hard to over eat!)There is breads, english muffins and stuff that are included! I get 26 point dailey, but with Simply Filling you don't count towards daily's.
I did enjoy a few glasses of wine! It's been along time and my husband and I had a relaxing evening!
I can't eat 1400 calories and lose weight...I need about 1200. But when you give your body what it needs the numbers somehow work out! I know eating this way works for me! I can live this way.
God bless you all for the support and kind words! have a wonderful afternoon!!!!P.S. I am here for you guys too!!

Have you looked into whey protein isolate? It has just 1 carb and 30g protein. I have it with a smoothie spinach, homemade kefir milk(not store bought very high in carbs), and juice for a smoothie and I use the vanilla creme flavor and it makes it really sweet (my habit).

You sound so much better today! Don't give up and keep working to find what is going to be the best plan for you . Like you, I find that I am losing on 1200 daily. Everyone has a unique body and what works for one person may not work for another so keep working towards your best eating plan! :)

Egg, chicken and tuna salads are always good, over a bed of lettuce. I also make, one cup of whipping cream, add 2 TBS of sugar free chocolate pudding, and 1 TBS of cocoa powder, and whip it up. Yum Good luck with your journey.
