Feretina's Journal, 11 October 2013

I made a choice to eat snacks with my friends. This decision has come back to haunt me. Once I said yes to temptation of junk, I have been giving in for two days. There is no justification. I don't want to gain back what I've worked so hard to get rid of. Any suggestions? I'm at a low point.

The good thing is, you recognize what you did. Just own it, tell yourself,ok I messed up,and just put it behind you. Don't beat yourself up over a slip. Calm down, start over, and tell your friends,no more snacking, and mean it!! You need to regain your focus! This journey we're on is only hard if you make it hard. Don't allow anyone to sabotage you!!! You CAN do this!!!

Ohhhhhh! Thanks so much for the encouragement and advice. You're right. This journey can be what we make of it. Ok, I choose moderation not overindulgence! (You may need to remind me every once in a while)!!!

Pumakitten is right. We all stumble and fall sometimes. Just get back up and try again. You were able to recognize what started the cravings and you were able to admit that it was a weakness you gave in to. A lot of people have trouble admitting what started their downfall. You can get back on track.
