I'm not proud of this, but I just ate 1 Hershy's Bliss Dark Choclate square out of anger at my husband's stupid/good intentions! We ate a Wendy's where I chose the BLT chicken Cobb salad. I ate sparingly. My son had 2 chicken nuggets left that I reached to eat when my husband said No No you shouldn't eat those. I told him I've lost 11 pounds since I started this 100 carb challenge and I would darn well eat the nuggets if that's what I wanted. I told him I currently have a positive outlook that is in jeopardy when he starts trying to help me decide what to or not to eat! Grrrrrr! The good news is that I recognized why I reached for the chocolate. The bad news is that I ate it! Meanwhile, my husband had the chocolate frosty and chili with crackers and chocolate chip cookies for dessert. And no, he's not overweight.

You recorded it and you are being honest with yourself as to why you reached for it. That's a huge step in itself. No one said you can't enjoy the same things from time to time, just do it in moderation and do it for pleasure rather than out of anger, boredom, or depression.
