I gained some weight when my husband went Paleo and used A LOT of bacon fat, butter and coconut oil in everything. It worked great for him but not for me, because I wasn't leaving out my usual grains! Plus, I'm just getting older.
I've been trying portion control and not snacking, and drinking a lot of water, but I think I need the extra step of mindful calories to lose weight a bit more quickly. But hey, at least I'm not putting it on anymore! :)
