Another busy weekend and I put my diet on hold. I didn't even get on fatsecret and record my food. It really is life style change, I see that now. I need to be aware of that, no matter what is going on. A friend of mine has lost a lot of weight and I love seeing her pictures. I makes me want to lose this weight more than ever now.

Yey! Learning lessons is a part of the weight loss process, and it's great that you have found some more motivation. Maybe you can put motivational pictures on the fridge to help you with making healthy food choices! You can do it!

It's hard. I used to let go every weekend, and after a while not seeing any change I decided I couldn't do that. Now, I'm trying to make more of an effort to eat better on the weekends and make sure to exercise. I have all day to exercise on the weekend, so why would I put it off? Good luck!!

Yeah - I've heard and read of people who do 5 days on & take the weekends off - I'm sure that may work for maintenance but will slow 'losing'.

I know exactly how you feel! When I started out in the weight loss process I did awesome and was recording my food every day. I became a little over confident in my calorie counting capabilities and stopped recording everything... then I stopped losing! Just have to stick with it I guess. It helps me that I weigh in on Monday mornings, holds me accountable for the weekend.

I like the Monday weigh ins. When I was in TOPS (take off pounds sensibly) that was when our weigh in was. It did help. The weekends are the hardest for me.

This is definitely learning process as well Blue Box! :) I don't think I could afford to take the weekends off...for me that would just turn into binging.
