Sent out the evites for our 30th anniversary party last night. Evidently doing party invites on evite turns all one's ads into party dresses. I am appalled that everything, including mother-in-law dresses, is strapless. With at most a shrug. Ewwww. I wouldn't mind getting a fancy party dress but I'm just not seeing it. Go with something like Kiyonna and look like a matron (okay I am almost 60 and arguably a matron) or .... what? I'm not seeing it. I want something bright, goes with a luau and is sexy. Good luck with that. *sigh*

I have 2 big events over the next few months, our 40th wedding anniversary 1st Sept, and my youngest daughters wedding in October. I have no idea what I'm going to wear.. and don't want to shop yet as I want to lose the weight that has crept on. I turned the big 60 last December, though I don't FEEL 60!
I just want something nice that I actually look good in!

I hear you about not feeling 60! Congrats on your 40th! And your daughter's wedding. My daughter is going to Tahoe to check out venues for her wedding (which isn't going to be until next year or even 2015 she says). Life goes on. And I did find a cool dress. Going to see if I can figure out how to post it in my next entry. :)
