bchevalier's Journal, 19 March 2013

Aboout a year ago my husband and i decided we would like to start a family. as the cards would have it i got pregnant in may. i worked VERY and i mean VERYVERY VERY VERY hard throughout my pregnancy running 5 days a week, competing in 3 half marathons and even running 3 miles and walking 3 miles the day i delivered our beautiful baby boy. fatsecret helped me along the way which meant i only gaiined 16 pounds. After 2 hours of active labor and two effortless pushes, my son was born weighing 6lbs 13oz! and on his arrival, my doctor commented on my easy labor with "thats what happens when you are in really good shape!" 2 days later we went home and i weighed the exact same as my pre pregnancy weight. Now i am back monitoring my calories....... just thought id update everybody and explain the dramatic instantaneous weight loss in february!

Congratulations to you and your husband. Happy to hear you had an easy time of the delivery and well done on running half marathons, personally, i hate running but much respect to those that do it. Keep up the good work!!!
